Ski Trainer for Rookie Academy and a member of the Demo Team Training Squad.
Originally from Italy, Gherardo moved to New Zealand in 1999 and he’s been training and working back-to-back seasons ever since.
He is a current NZSIA Ski Examiner and Demo Team Training Squad member. Gherardo is also a qualified Italian Maestro di Sci, Swiss Level III with Patente, NZMSC Avalanche Level One, and a Basi Trainer. In NZ he’s based at Treble Cone with Rookie Academy, and he spends the Northern Hemisphere winters in the European Alps training instructors and off-piste guiding in Verbier (Switzerland).
His name is too complicated for many, so most people just call him ‘G’.
