Ben’s no different from the rest of the crew really. He got into instructing in the early 90s, was easily confused with left and right so gave front and back a bash.
He became good enough to flounder his way through the old eight-day Stage One at Mt Hutt in 1996. Then got free and brave and did some back-to-back’s from NZ to Colorado, before starting as an Examiner in 1999.
More recently he’s been lurking around France enjoying the Euro culture. Now Ben’s based in Arrowtown doing the family thing and continually looking forward to more seasons at Coronet Peak. Haere ra!
