Snowboarding started for Dave in the late 90’s as a teenager at Turoa in the North Island. An instant love for sliding sideways on snow followed with seasons in the states while studying art and design at Auckland Uni.
Achieving Level One and Two with AASI before swapping over to SBINZ and following the rest of the SBINZ pathway to Level Three with ISIA standard and then Trainers Cert.
With time in and out of the industry including coaching, terrain park building, events and traveling the world snowboarding along with further winters seasons and stints in Japan, Canada, France, Italy, Bulgaria and even Scotland.
His summers are spent mountain biking, hiking and tapping away behind the computer being creative.
Dave is also a Tech Team member and runs the SBINZ Social Media platforms and helps with graphic layout of the SBINZ manual.
