Purpose

To drive engagement with our membership and snowsport community with inspirational content on our social channels. To curate and lead content from our members across all divisions.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Tell our story through all our social channels.
  • Inform our membership with timely updates on divisional stories.
  • Develop and execute results-based social media programs to attract new traffic to the website and apps.
  • Support global content development and maintain a rapidly-changing schedule of social media posts on global and regional channels.
  • Collaborate with subject matter specialists to ensure content delivery deadlines are met.
  • Support issue-management efforts.
  • Use and maintain a set of content planning, scheduling, and notification tools to ensure social engagements are tracked, monitored, and reported to stakeholders in a timely fashion.
  • Write or commission content for daily posting to our major social platforms.
  • Craft engaging content for sales/field employees and partners, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Regularly compile, analyse, and deliver meaningful metrics and reports on the performance of social media content at both the global and local levels.

Skills, Experience & Education

  • Understanding of NZSIA / SBINZ values, national and international brand placement.
  • Foundation knowledge of the influencer and social media landscape.
  • Strong engagement in social media and curiosity about ever-changing trends.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Docs, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
