As a grommet, Ollie grew up surfing and skating on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. In 2009 he decided to take a gap year from University and started to shred the frozen wave in Queenstown.

That first season, Ollie was living with some snowboard instructors, who were living the dream. Seeing their lifestyle and passion for riding, Ollie decided to get into teaching the year after. He’s since been teaching and shredding throughout New Zealand, Canada, Japan and also coaching in USA, Austria, Switzerland and France.

Ollie currently works at Cardrona in the ITC (Instructor Training Centre) and as a coach within the HPC (High Performance Centre) training the next generation of rippers. He loves having the opportunity to be able to educate and certify people on how to teach snowboarding, so they get into this amazing industry and continue to spread their stoke. When Ollie’s not chasing the snow he loves travelling and surfing.
