Development Coaches Certification – Park, Pipe and Freeride
This is the on-snow component to the Development Coaches Certification for freeskiers and snowboarders, as part of the Coaching Pathway. This five-day course/exam builds on coaching concepts introduced during the Intro to Coaching Seminars and the Development Coaches eLearning. This course is about moving into an on-snow environment, looking at two main aspects:
i) coaching the athlete
ii) coaching in the environment
The course is specific to the environment (i.e. Park, Pipe, SBX/Skier Cross and Freeride) not the discipline, so freeskiers and snowboarders will be working together for most parts.
