Originally from the UK, but New Zealand is now home. I set out to do one season in Japan—ten years later, I’m still chasing winters.
A member of the current NZSIA Technical Team. I work as a trainer for Rookie Academy at Treble Cone during the Southern Hemisphere winter, and spend the Northern Hemisphere season in Japan teaching privates and running Rookie courses.
In the off-season, I split my time between Indonesia and Great Barrier Island—usually surfing, free diving, and taking a break from ski boots.
