Works for: Rookie Academy

My ski career started as a young kid at Mt ruapehu thanks to my father who was a keen skier in his own right, it only needed a good looking forcast to net the week off school and off we would go. This soon progressed to us road tripping around the south island’s club fields and TC chasing snow throughout my teenage years. Having had no formal training nor lessons, the one thing I recall is my father yelling “stand on your outside ski! ” which in retrospect has served me pretty well to this point. In part, I owe my love for the sport to my dad, whom together we shared many formative adventures through New Zealands iconic mountains.

After school I moved to Melbourne to study Industrial design, however, after many hours spent behind a laptop I decided skiing might be more fun, I called up my best mate, convinced him to ditch uni for a semester, and now we are here (I did finish my degree).

I work for the Rookie academy, NZSIA & Hokkaido Collective, I have worked in NZ, Japan & Canada and I am a current member of the NZ tech team.
