SBINZ are excited to announce the availability of three $500 scholarships for current SBINZ members looking to attend the 2012 Trainers Cert workshop or exam. The SBINZ committee will be selecting the 3 recipients based on the quality of the applicants Professional Development Plan (PD Plan template attached). Applicants should consider the following in their application and PD Plan:
· Who do you have around you that may have the knowledge and experience to help you
· Look to other resources to fill your gaps and increase your knowledge
· What are you planning to present at your resort in preparation
· Long term goals in the industry
· Details of any referees that you have shadowed or that have shadowed you
· Have discussed your strengths and weaknesses with others?
The PD Plans and a brief introduction letter should be emailed to snowboard@nzsia.org by 5:00pm 15th July.
