Andrew was born in Britain but grew up in Spain. He fell in love with skiing and the mountains at the age of 6, first on the family farm in Scotland and then on school trips to the ski hills around Madrid. When he was twenty he discovered snowboarding on a ski holiday and switched. In 2009 he attended a snowboard instructor course in Canada but he didn’t start working full time as an instructor though, he went back to college to finish studying IT development and then tried his hand at many other jobs until he realized snowsports instruction was the best job in the world. Since then he has been teaching snowsports all over the world in; Canada, the US, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and even South Africa.
