Emily’s love for skiing began at the age of two on the slopes of France. What started as family ski holidays quickly grew into a passion for ski racing, leading her to train at a ski racing academy in Italy during her teenage years. She later earned a degree in Business Economics and has since built a career of back-to-back winters, dividing her time between Courchevel, France and Queenstown, New Zealand.
Emily is an NZSIA Examiner, Tech Team member and a member of the NZSIA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce. She is also a BASI Trainer and the founder of Alpine Academy, a ski instructor training school. Beyond the slopes, Emily is a qualified secondary school teacher.
