I was born and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado, as the daughter of world-renowned Swiss mountain guide Jean Pavillard and Professor Mary Cain. My ski career began with Freeride Competitions and culminated in three years on the Freeride World Tour. My passion for skiing has continued beyond my competitive years. I have since dedicated myself to becoming the best manager, coach, trainer, and skier I can be. Currently, I am an NZSIA Alpine and freeski examiner, as well as a PSIA Freestyle, Alpine, and Telemark examiner. Additionally, I am a member of the NZ Technical Team. I am now enjoying my role as the Manager of the Madison Base in Big Sky, MT in the Northern Hemisphere. I switch between examining, coaching, instructing, and instructor training for the Southern Hemisphere.
