Harry Mcfadden started skiing at Mt Hutt and Broken River as a teenager and started his pathway into the ski instruction world in 2010 after leaving school when he enrolled in a training program at Cardrona and completed the Level 1 And Level 2 Certifications.

Since then Harry has used his qualifications and passion for skiing to travel and work in Canada, USA, Switzerland, Japan and China where he has taught 1000s of would be skiers how to take on the slopes.

In 2015 Harry achieved the Level 3 certification and in 2018 achieved the Ski Trainers certification and was selected onto the NZSIA Interski Team for Pamporovo 2019, a massive goal was ticked off when Harry was selected for this team.

Harry loves teaching skiing as it gives him great satisfaction to show others how much fun you can have just sliding down a hill!

When outside of the skiing world Harry enjoys travelling to destinations all around the world, preparing and eating great food and getting out on Lake Wanaka for some time in the boat or fishing its shores and surrounding rivers.
