Tim started skiing at 3 on Coronet Peak under the guise of his father Wayne, a former NZSIA instructor.  Having figured out at the age of 12 skiing was the only sport he wasn’t terrible at Tim decided to pursue the sport through the world of ski racing.

Fast-forward 12 years; after a racing career with the NZ Ski Team and some good international competition experience Tim figured out he was still terrible at all the other sports so he followed the path of the NZSIA, got some qualifications and started work in the mountains.

Tim has worked for the Queenstown Alpine Ski Team as a race coach, and currently works with the NZSIA along with spending time overseas teaching in Aspen, Colorado and Portillo, Chile.  Tim is supported by Volkl, Marker and Dalbello New Zealand.
