Yoyo (AKA Yolinde Magill) is a born & bred kiwi chick -a rare breed in the ski industry! She grew up skiing in Wanaka and loved it so much that she became an instructor whilst still in high school.
Yoyo became an examiner in 2003 when doing seasons between Queenstown, Switzerland, Canada, & the USA. In 2007 Yoyo came back to Wanaka where she worked as the Manager of Instructor Training Cardrona (ITC).
Yoyo is the NZSIA Northern Hemisphere Ski Manager, managing the growing overseas courses for the NZSIA in locations such as China, Europe, and Japan. She was a selector for the NZSIA Technical Team, the NZSIA Demo Team, plus is on the NZSIA Ski Committee. In addition, Yoyo is also the Lead for the Adaptive, Telemark/Cross Country and Coaching divisions.
Ultimately, Yoyo considers herself very fortunate to be “livin’ the dream” by helping others into an industry she’s super passionate about – who could ask for more?!
