Stephanie began her skiing with her family at Whakapapa, Mt Ruapheu.
Her ski instructing career began at Mt Hutt and under the expert guidance of the NZSIA Examiners at Mt Hutt she gained Full certification and in 1987 become an NZSIA examiner.
Steph was representing members on the NZSIA Executive Committee from 1995 to 2007, and on the NZSIA Ski Technical Committee since 1998.
Representing New Zealand at Interski at Switzerland 2003 , Korea 2007 and St Anton 2011 were highlights for Steph.
Steph has been the NZSIA Ski Division Manager since 2007.
Steph has taught skiing in Europe, Canada and currently works the Northern winters in Aspen USA . She is a retired PSIA Examiner and a current Verifier, Trainer and Instructor for the Aspen Ski Schools.
