About Appi Resort
Appi Resort is the largest ski resort in northern Honshu, Japan, featuring 600m verticals and 21 runs, including tree runs. It’s perfect for beginners with well-groomed runs and ski school exclusive magic carpets. The upper mountain offers excellent powder runs. Two Intercontinental brand ski-in/ski-out hotels accommodate guests from around the world.
About Our School
We are the official school of Appi Resort, with experienced instructors who have taught here for over 20 years. They’ll share hidden mountain spots with select students.
Job Details
Provide quality ski/snowboard lessons for all ages and abilities in a safe, professional manner.
Assist in setting up and cleaning the beginner park and perform other small duties as needed.
Be a teammates to a diverse team, ski the famous Japanese powder, and live in beautiful Japanese mountains.
Minimum Qualifications
Level 1 Ski and/or Snowboard Instructor certification
First Aid Certification
Valid visa to work in Japan
Skill visa – ski school will help sponsor visa if qualified
Japanese National/ Spouse visa/student visa/ etc
Working holiday visa – will apply and be in Japan during next winter season.
Additional
Fluency in languages other than English (Chinese, Japanese, etc) highly recommended
Employment Duration
Full Season: December 1, 2024 – April 6, 2025
