Harrow APPI International School: Our main work comes from an international school that is based on the resort here in APPI Kogen. The school has students from all across the world aged between 13 – 18. The students take lessons 7 days per week on the snow and all learn to either ski or snowboard. This also includes chances to race and learn freestyle tricks as part of the curriculum.
Job Description: APPI ExPlore Snow requires ski and snowboard instructors and specialists in racing and freestyle in both disciplines. Instructors will take students of all ages and abilities in their sessions. Instructing them from 1st time on the snow to advanced level students, you will be working with the same students multiple times per week, meaning that all students progress fast and are skiing and boarding the whole mountain quickly. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality ski and snowboard lessons to students from Harrow APPI, an international school.
Ski Race Coach & Ski Freestyle Coach: The Ski Race and Ski Freestyle coaches come under our ‘Specialist instructors program’, you will take sessions with high-level students who have elected to specialise in your chosen field. These sessions will run alongside their regular lessons and are built to build students into racers and freestyle skiers. Within this role you will also be in charge of the racing and park teams, taking selected students for high-level training to prepare them for competitions. These sessions are designed by you, and coached to only the best students whom you allow into the team, to take them to competitions and advance their skills to new highs.
Before the winter begins, you will be assigned scheduling tasks to show us and the students what they will be learning week by week and how we can work best together to facilitate new events, park features and more. The Team under your specialisation is developed and moulded by you, take it with both hands and create something new and exciting inside the snowsports world.

Develop rapport with students and track their progress throughout the season.
