Winter is Here – Courses Are Full Steam Ahead!
We’re right in the thick of the season, and NZSIA & SBINZ courses are buzzing across New Zealand! From Queenstown to Ruapehu, our rookie instructors are hitting the slopes, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and fresh passion to snow schools everywhere.
With courses running at full capacity and long waitlists forming fast, now is the time to get your name down. We keep a close eye on waitlists to make sure everyone gets the chance to join a course when spaces open.
To all our new instructors: welcome to the snowsports community! Here’s to a season full of learning, laughter, and epic turns.
Women’s Summit a Huge Success!
The NZSIA Women’s Summit has wrapped up and what an incredible weekend it was!
Hosted across Treble Cone and Cardrona, the Summit brought together over 50 women from across the industry for two days of skiing, snowboarding, learning and connection – all under the guidance of NZSIA’s amazing female trainers.
Off the mountain, attendees enjoyed a series of inspiring events, including a presentation from Women of Winter founder Chris Walch, advice from female ski and snowboard equipment experts and a meet-up at Mons Royale HQ, complete with pizza, networking and plenty of laughs.
While skill development was at the heart of the Summit, the true highlight was the energy, collaboration and inspiration that comes from so many passionate women sharing the snow together.
A huge thank you to our presenters Chris Walch, Jo Rotter and Rachel Penden who shared their knowledge, experience and motivation with the group.
To everyone who attended: your energy made this event something truly special. We cannot wait to see the Women’s Summit grow even further in the seasons ahead!
