We are pleased to advise our members of an important update to the ISIA Stamp pathway.
Following decisions made at the recent ISIA General Assembly, the requirement to hold a second language test has now been removed from the ISIA Stamp qualification criteria.
What this means for NZSIA members
- The ISIA Stamp continues to recognise a high level of international qualification and professionalism.
- A second language test is no longer a prerequisite to achieving the ISIA Stamp.
- All other requirements of the pathway remain in place and must still be met.
Why the change?
This update reflects ISIA’s aim to ensure the Stamp pathway remains accessible, relevant, and fair to instructors worldwide, while still maintaining the high professional standards that the qualification is known for.
Next steps
- If you are currently working towards your ISIA Stamp, you will no longer need to complete a second language test.
- Please review the updated ISIA Stamp requirements (Ski or Snowboard) on our website to make sure you are clear on the remaining elements of the pathway.
- If you have any questions, the NZSIA office and divisional managers are here to help.
