Kia ora,

Membership & Course Updates – What You Need to Know
Following our NZSIA Management Meeting in Wānaka, we have several important updates to share as we look ahead to the coming seasons.
Membership Fees – Update for 2027
From 2027, NZSIA membership fees will increase slightly to $95 per year.
This small adjustment helps ensure we can continue to deliver high-quality education, maintain strong international recognition, and support the continued development of our divisions and member services.
For now, the 2025 and 2026 membership rates remain unchanged at $90, and members are welcome to pre-pay future years at the current rate if they wish.
Course Fees – No Changes for 2026
We’re pleased to confirm that course fees for the 2026 New Zealand season will remain the same.
This decision reflects our ongoing commitment to keeping professional development accessible while maintaining the high standards NZSIA is known for.
Important Reminder: You Must Be Current for 2026 to Stay on a 2026 Course

A quick but important reminder: your 2026 membership must be paid and active to remain enrolled in any 2026 course.
Recently, a number of course registrations had to be cancelled because memberships were not current for 2026. We don’t want anyone to lose their place, so please double-check your membership status before enrolling or travelling for any course.
What you need to know:
- Memberships renew on 1 January each year, but…
- If you’ve booked a 2026 course, your 2026 membership must already be paid.
- If you receive a reminder email from us to renew, please do so promptly.
- If membership isn’t renewed by the requested date, your course booking will be cancelled.
- These emails are simply to prevent members from losing their spot.
Look for this wording:
“Your subscription will end on 31 December 2026.”
If it shows an earlier date, you’ll need to renew.
