NZSIA office

We are excited to announce we have a new person in the NZSIA office team now. A big welcome to Airini Edmonds, one of our members – she is a great addition to the bookings team for NZSIA. Airini has a wealth of experience in the snowsports industry and a long time local in the area. She will be a real asset assisting with our membership.

NZSIA shop and NZSIA Merch

We are making some changes to our NZSIA shop. For membership cards, manuals and the last of the discounted caps and beanies, you can find that through the NZSIA shop in your profile (you can log in and purchase even if you aren’t current) – click on NZSIA Shop – there is a drop down with all the options.

But we have more…. we now have a new merchandise shop for those of you that like more clothing and hats, with the opportunity to get division specific logos on them. Each division will be building its own “collection”. Feel free to let us know if there is specific items you would like to see and we can investigate for you. This “NZSIA Merch” will get shipped from Australia, we can ship all around the world which is great. Look for the “NZSIA Merch” on the top right of the website.

NZSIA App

Have you checked out the App yet? We are excited to keep building this to become something that all our members will be able use as a valuable resource – including elearning and manuals. Try it out!

Ski and Snowboard Manuals

Snowboard Manual – the new addition of the Snowboard Manual is currently available in the Downloads page, and hopefully we will have a version available to buy in the shop soon. It will be coming to you in a different format than usual – an A5 ring binder. When we have updates you will be able to buy the replacement sections.

Ski Manual – The new Digital Ski Manual will be a fully functioning Digital manual for 2023, with a the printed ring binder version coming for 2024.

Industry Discount for 2023

The plan for 2023 – It will be a voucher system again like last year, allocated from your Resort Snowsports Manager. Each resort will have a limited number of vouchers, giving the resorts the ability to target where they would like to further develop their Snowsports school.

If you want to book on a course, we recommend securing your place at full price, then if you are eligible for a voucher, we can apply the discount retrospectively.

Booking on courses

Once you are current, then you can book on courses and get underway with your elearning. Check out your division calendars and see what is available:

It has been really busy with bookings so far, many courses are already on “waitlist”. Please follow the link and fill in the form, then we can do the best we can to accommodate you. Some of our courses have reached their limit due to staffing availability and/or resort limits, aso we will only have availability if someone removes themselves from the course. Always good to check out other options that may suit on the Dates and Prices page. If you find another course with availability – we would recommend securing the place so you don’t miss out.
